Bakan Mine is owned by J Resouces through PT J Resources Bolaang Mongondow (JRBM). JRBM holds the 6th Generation Contract of Work, which is valid until 2034, covering two blocks - Bakan and Lanut - with a total area of 38,150Ha. Bakan Mine is located in the North Sulawesi province.

Based on data as of 31 December 2023, Bakan Mine has JORC Compliant Proven & Probable Ore Reserves of 425,000 oz gold contained within Measured, Indicated & Inferred Mineral Resources of 920,000 oz gold.

Bakan Mine contributes a production capacity of 70,000 - 120,000 oz per annum (depending on mine scheduling) and currently has sufficient reserves for 5 years (before further exploration program).
