Bakan Site
Various types of hazardous waste that are disposed directly into the environment are a source of pollution and environmental damage. To mitigate the impact of hazardous waste, an integrated and sustainable management system is needed. Managing hazardous waste is one of the efforts in implementing environmental sustainable development.
Hazardous waste management is guided by Government Regulation No. 74, Year 2001, Government Regulation No. 22 Year 2021, Minister of Environment Regulation No. 03 Year 2008 and Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia No. 6 Year 2021.

In its operations, the Company generates hazardous waste and domestic waste. Hazardous waste generated includes used oil, hazardous contaminated materials, used batteries and other hazardous waste which will be collected at the B3 Waste Temporary Storage Site (TPS LB3) and then sent to the licensed hazardous waste management agency.
Domestic waste handling is relatively easier and can be done in various ways according to the conditions of activities and field situations. Domestic waste will be placed at final disposal landfills.
